Are you like me in the fact that you can't stand the fact that you can't pump the last little bit of lotion out of the bottle? Well, if you are, you know that stacking the bottles end to end doesn't always get the lotion into the newer bottle. So....you may have a cabinet full of lotion bottles that 98% empty. You know you're never going to take the time to pound the remainder of the lotion out into your palm....you know it and I know it. So...what to do?
After several threats from my husband that he was just going to throw them away (I am an AVID recycler!) I started to wash the bottles, and the unused wasted lotion, down the bathtub drain. Then, an epiphany! Mixing warm water in the bottle makes for a great addition to those relaxing baths, or great to squirt on a pumice stone before you scrape your feet, or even great to shave with. So, go, get rid of those "empty" lotion bottles!
