Happy May Day!!! And May means spring. And spring means spring cleaning. And spring cleaning means garbage. And garbage means yucky, stinky garbage cans. (Get to the point already! I know) When the hot weather arrives, so does the warm, yucky, icky, garbage which usually attracts flies and other buzzing buggies.
Try this. Next time you clean your cans (the garbage kind), toss a handful of dry laundry detergent in them. It will repel those annoying insects. Don't use dry detergent? Go to the dollar store and get el cheapo brand. $1 is a wise investment if it means not having to play lord of the flies when you want to take the garbage out!
