Yay!! Summer, summer, summer time is here. Break out the sandals and the flip flops! What is that you say? You need to go buy new flip flops because the one's you have are SUPER dirty and turn your feet black? Not this year! Instead throwing away those rubber thongs, just give 'em a good washing.
Throw them in a lingerie back, with the bottoms facing out, and toss them into the washing machine. I would definitely recommend washing them in cold water, but if you feel adventurous, try warm water. My mom even washed ones with baubles on them, and they stayed on. Now if you want to go buy more flip flops, you can splurge and buy the expensive ones since they're no longer so 'disposable'!!
